Leanna Isaia was born and raised in Oxnard, California. She graduated from Channel Islands High School in 2012 and began working at Coastal Metabolic Research Centre, Inc. in 2013 as our clinical data entry manager. Leanna is certified in good clinical practice and the shipment of biological substances, continuing her education and keeping up to date with international standards. Her favorite part about working at CMRC is the welcoming environment created by her coworkers and boss. Leanna also contributes to the friendly atmosphere, as she greets patients when they enter the clinic. She also enjoys meeting patients and getting to know their stories. Also, she likes when patients are satisfied after completing a trial because of the team effort in helping patients’ problems. Leanna works hard with her colleagues to ensure that the patients of Coastal Metabolic are treated well. For Leanna, the most rewarding part of her job is to do what she can to help patients so that they are happy with the care they receive. In addition, she has been involved in many studies during her years at CMRC, making sure that our site’s data is entered accurately and completely.
Outside the clinic, Leanna enjoys spending time with her family and reading. Her favorite hobby is photography. She never leaves the house without her camera so that she can capture beautiful moments. She finds these moments especially when she is with her family. Leanna absolutely loves to take photos everywhere she goes and of everyone. She is the designated photographer at her family’s events, documenting family gatherings and the time they spend together. One of Leanna’s dreams is to travel to American Samoa and to Mexico with her grandmother so that she can see where her family grew up. She hopes to visit the places relevant to her heritage, something that is very important to her.
